CERTThe CERT Program educates individuals about disaster preparedness for the various hazards that could impact our county.

Some of the training provided includes:

• Basic Disaster Preparedness and Response
• Disaster Fire Safety and Suppression
• Light Search and Rescue Operations
• Disaster Medical Operations
• Disaster Team Organization
• Other Disaster Related Topics as Appropriate

Pendleton County has a trailer containing a significant amount of medical response equipment that would be deployed to scenes of large scale accidents. A team of trained personnel would be needed to help get it in place and set-up it up. The CERT would be key players in helping with our Medical Response Trailer (MRT).
